The Festive Season has arrived! Every family has their own traditions as to how they celebrate a Christmas Day and spend time with their family and friends. For guests spending their Christmas with us in Cottesloe, here is an outline of what your day could look like!
Morning
After a long, luxurious sleep in at one of our fantastic properties, use the cooking facilities and make a delicious and filling breakfast for a long festive day ahead. Many of our properties have a Nespresso machine available for guest use so you won’t have to forego your morning coffee.
Once breakfast has settled, we suggest heading straight to the beach! Christmas Day in Perth is always a hot one- last year it was 38 degrees! In order to be fully prepared for the beach we recommend pre-reading the following check list, 17 essential beach items. You could also add a Christmas themed item to your beach list such as a Santa Hat.
We recommend walking or riding down to the beach to make the most of your time in Cottesloe and, conveniently, most of our properties are located just minutes from the beach.
Midday
All of our properties have full cooking facilities for guest to utilise throughout the stay. This is perfect for guests who wish to make their own special Christmas Lunch or if you are heading to see friends or family in Perth, the kitchen comes in handy for whipping up a festive delicious treat to bring along.
Alternatively there are lots of fantastic restaurants in Perth that do a delightful Christmas lunch that will make your day cheerful and pain free. This list includes Indiana Cottesloe and the Blue Duck. We would recommend booking something quickly as time is running out.
Evening
If you are renting one of our properties with a balcony, we recommend that you settle in and watch the magnificent Western Australian sunset. Some of our properties also have board game/ cards that are available for guests enjoy. These games are a great way to spend some quality time with the people you want to spend Christmas Day with.
Tips
Some properties also have a sound system if you want to have Christmas carols on as background music.
